Wasatch County has approved plans for development of the Mayflower parcel at Deer Valley. The 940 acre development will be known as the Mayflower Mountain Resort and is located off U. S. 40 near the Mayflower exit. The parcel is located on both the Jordanelle Reservoir side of the exit and slopeside at Deer Valley. This will be a major Deer Valley ski portal on the eastern side of Deer Valley. The parcel was purchase back in 2017 by a New York City firm called Extell Developement Company.
In addition to the 1,498 ERU's approved, Deer Valley will expand the skiable terrain by 900 acres with the additon of six new lifts. The 900 acres wil include 200 acres of runs with the remainder planned for glade skiing.
